MathSciNet is the online version of the AMS publications Mathematical Reviews and Current Mathematical Publications. Mathematical Reviews is a reviewing journal of international mathematics literature providing reviews or summaries of articles and books that contain new contributions to mathematical research. Current Mathematical Publications is an early awareness journal. Most items are later reviewed in Mathematical Reviews. All items in Mathematical Reviews appear first in Current Mathematical Publications.
The MathSciNet database provides Web access to the mathematical literature of the AMS and contains signed reviews and bibliographic data from Mathematical Reviews and Current Mathematical Publications from January 1940 to the present. Journals, conference proceedings, and books of mathematics research are covered, as well as items listed in the annual indexes of Mathematical Reviews but not given an individual review. MathSciNet includes links to original articles and other original documents. Database features include focused searches; browse tools; clipboard (allows users to collect citations from multiple searches onto one file for download or display); batch download of marked records; and multiple onscreen formats.
