Key Business Ratios
Key Business Ratios (KBR) allows users to search over 1 million public and private companies by SIC, line of business, asset range, and year. 14 key business ratios are offered for over 800 lines of business for competitive benchmarking. Three types of ratios are available: solvency, efficiency, and profitability. Users can create ratios using a company’s financial statement and produce a comparative report. Ratio data can be viewed in a spreadsheet or report format. Data is updated twice a year, in January and in July.
Million Dollar Directory on the Internet (MDDI)
MDDI Provides company information for 1.6 million United States and Canadian companies, including contact information such as name, address, phone number, up to 20 executive names, and top 2 officer biographies. Firm information is available, including sales, employees, line of business, SIC, and NAICS. The information is updated every 60 days. In the last few years, Dun & Bradstreet has developed multiple data options that offer flexibility to segment the available data so that a campus can purchase the portion of data that is actually needed. In the past, SEIR has offered the Library Edition and the California Edition. As mentioned above, Dun & Bradstreet has discontinued their California Edition, all of their state editions and their Middle Market edition. The California Edition from years past is now a subset of Dun & Bradstreet’s Premier Edition. The Million Dollar Premier edition lists companies that have $1million in sales, 20 or more total number of employees and 50 or more employees per branch. The Library Edition lists all companies that have $9 million or more in sales, 18 or more total number of employees and 900 or more employees per branch.
